Safety City

On Wednesday, September 22nd , we will attend Safety City from 8:30-10:00. Students will be bussed to AH Park to learn about stop, look, and listen before crossing the street. This safety presentation is put on by the Newton Police Department and is a fun, learning experience. I will need 2 parents to help on this field trip. If you would like to chaperone this trip, please let me know as soon as possible. I will fill the spots on a first come basis. Chaperones will drive on their own and meet us at AH Park by 8:30.

Picture retakes are the morning of October 14th!

KM Newsletter

· Welcome! I am very excited about the school year. The kids are a great bunch and it’s only the first week! They have learned a lot of the expectations of the classroom and the school. We will dive into the curriculum more next week.
· I will be sending home a newsletter at the end of each month. It will contain information that we have been working on so you know what we’ve been up to.
· The vote has passed that we are all Cardinals now!
Please don’t be frustrated if your student has come home with a “yellow” day. This is the beginning of the year and most are learning the school rules for the first time. They are working hard at following them and will get better as the year progresses.
